i have a psp with firmware version 2.6, the seller told me he checked and it wasnt the ta- 082. but after i bought it i checked and it was the dam board >=(. i was woundering if theres any way to get it to the 3.02 oe-a firmware without bricking it.

Yes, theres a downgrader for the TA-082 Mobo now, so go downgrade and have fun.
