ok ok .. here's what i did .. (lets skip the installing 2.71_TA-082_-_1.50.exe process .. which i have done already .. )
i ran the HEND in photo, it turned blue, then green .. then it restarted back to XMB .. this still considered as HEND'ed rite ?
so i went in GAME>Memory stick .. load the idstoragechange .. press X .. auto restart ..
then went it GAME>"Update X.YX" .. i load it .. went black .. then got back it XMB saying 'Game could not be start' ...
what should i do now ? thanks !

If u need help with little things that are not related with the intial downgrade process then Google.com is your friend.
Honestly, how do u extract a file....
First you state that I can't read, when I have already made a post saying that I had success downgrading, then upgrading to 3.02oe-b. Maybe it's somebody else that doesn't know how to read :-/ I never once in ANY of my threads asked HOW to extract a file(again read the posts). I was just stating that you could have been more informative and said where to extract to(desktop, psp folder, root folder etc etc..) so people with less experience would know exactly what to do. Anyways, i'm done with this topic. I'm not saying your guide was bad, it just could have been a little more detailed in my opinion. Not everybody has $200-$300 to blow on an "educated guess". bye for now. =)

woah, so i don't have to place the files manually myself? I just have to run it while my PSP is connected to the computer and it places the files in my PSP itself?

btw Touran, can you give me ur msn email address? i can use some help from an expert rite now. thx......and is it true that you cannot go on internet if you downgrade?

Once you copy over the files, do you still have to have the USB connected? I'm guessing no?
I also assume it is best to keep the power cord connected while upgrading right?
Also what is better to upgrade to? 3.02 or 3.03? I would think 3.03 unless there are bugs with it but I want to know for sure.

umm calling people that is againts the rules you might be banned or suspended for that...and why has'nt this guide been sticked?
[EDIT]=people when doing this READ THE GUIDE A FEW TIMES before acually downgrading helps you get an idea of what your doing!..i did this for my friend 2 days ago without a promblem read the guide before saying i need help with this and that..re read the guide before starting..he made this while downgrading its easy to follow you need to know at least some very basic computer using skills(common sense on a computer) to do it..

Nevermind, they were stupid questions. Thanks for the guide. Easy as cake to follow and I am now running 3.03 OE-B on my new PSP. Even helps out as I for some reason couldn't get some ISOs to work on my 2.71 devhook PSP, they work fine on 3.03 OE-B

what sucks is that many people bought a new psp and updated it to 3.02 or 3.03 and i am one of them,

I BRICKED my PSP. i FOLLOWED the instructions exactly. Now there is a black screen and nothing is happening. No BSOD appeared in the end

sorry mate u musta done something wrong. did u run X-loader? and this is not pointless cuz u can upgrade to 3.03 OE-B after and play psx games!
No need for emulation!

what is this language. I am devastated because of the loss of my PSP, and I did follow the instructions exactly, I know that because this is actually the 4th PSP that i downgraded.
