know wut ? i solved my problem ..
how ? i changed my memory stick ..
turned out, after that black screen, back to XMB, go back to Game > Memory Stick > the "UpdateX.YZ" thingy changed to 'corrupted data' icon .. seems that my 2gb memory stick was a fake one ......

Excellent, excellent, successful downgrader to 1.5 waiting for files to download to upgrade to 3.02OE (oh the woes of being the last man on earth still using dial-up hahaha)
Thank you very much for such a wonderful guide.
But I had a simple question.. How do I emulate NES, SNES, so on so forth? That is why I bought this thing in the first place.

Hi...I've just joined...can anyone confirm whether this works on version 2.80 with ta-082. I think its been confirmed with most of the other versions but I couldnt see if it worked for 2.80

ok so im not using the easy installer. but im sure its the same... when i use hen-d and do the idstorage change... when i use the update it goes to the black loading screen where it says UPDATE.PBP not found... i named the folder update.pbp and put it in the folder... ne help here... thanks

Hi....great Guide....Just tried it on my psp and it definitely works...however i'm now trying to upgrade to 3.02oe but i cant download it. everytime I click the link to download it the page just refresh's......anyone got any advice

yea ok i downgraded to 1.5 and then up updated to 3.02 oea then to oe b now is it safe to update to 3.03oea? then to oea2? ppl say oeb is a bit buggy and still has some things to fix some say i should just stick with 3.02 oeb wat do u guys think?

hey guys, i already have hend, so i dont want to bother with reinstalling everything. So all i need to do is stick the downgrader.png file somewhere, right? the games folder maybe? help would be appreciated.

why dont u just upgrade to 3.02 OE-A > 3.02 OE-B > 3.03 OE-A > 3.03 OE-B thats what i got on my TA-082 works great.

Ok, I know everyones gonna say "read the guide" and will criticise me and all that junk.. but on step 4 :"run the installer and it will install everything on to your MS including HEND." I tried just running it with my PSP attached to USB and it didnt quite do anything.. So.. I'm assuming I pick the place to install it in. Right now its in /F drive..I need to know.. do I install into the PSP folder or the MP_ROOT folder?
