hey i been wondering y in the world i cant figure this stuff out then i figured it comes to psp i knoe nothing my own is firmware 3.03 and t-082 if any body could help me succesfully downgrade this with out grand theft auto hit me up with a pm please i need serious help

you're calling me stupid? look at your grammar, it's a disgrace. it's not all clicking start on an installer, you may not have the right firmware to be able to do that. get a life.

Well hay genius it says clearly under "specs" 2.71 TA-082 psp
Are you blind. and yes you are stupid.
It IS all about clicking INSTALL (not start.. duh)on an installer! you must be one thick guy.
My grammer isnt perfect becuase i dont make my posts perfect after i type it.....<------ Maybe your the one that needs to get a life..

omg, what he hell is going on? snap out of it! you guys are just being egoistic. anyway psplove, i know zero about psps before but thanks for the help of the guys here, i was able to understand the procedures. and i owe to them. it takes reading, observing and testing for you to acquire knowledge. it says there that there is a price of 4 pounds and i'm just being practical so why should i bother spending money where i can get it for free, and not just that. i also acquire knowledge if i do it the hard way. so take it easy mate' ;)

if you do it the 'hard' way then there's a higher chance of bricking your psp, thus costing more than 4 pounds. also, it takes a lot longer as you have to query what you don't understand and wait for a reply and most of the time they just repeat themselves. you can acquire the knowledge from an easier guide, more chance you will as you're being explained everything. i don't care if you do it by using the forums, i was merely offering my own help on downgrading by telling people how i did it - surely that is the point of these forums?!

^well, they wouldn't be posting 'em if they intend to brick your psp. you just have to follow the instructions, the posters made it user-friendly anyway not unless you really screw it up yourself. that's the point of doing things the hard way: you definitely acquire more than being spoon fed w/ the easy way. you do love challenges don't you? anyway, you've got a point of offering your help but i think you should have made your own thread. well at least be a little kind to the works of others. i think you have offended touran. oh come on dude, just a little respect for his efforts. respect for each other would lead us to a peaceful and harmonious way of living lol ;)

I have a stupid noob question here.....I just downloaded the easy-downgrader....Whn I go to install, it asks for the destination. What do I put there? I am a little bit confused. Thanks for all your help.

just put your psp drive.. for instance your hardisk in your pc is c:, just browse for you psp drive, i think that would be a g: or f:
8 depends on your psp ;)

ok, so just install it in the main directory ( F:)?....not under any of the sub-directories ( ie mp_root, psp).....after I do that, do I just go to the photo section in the psp and rund hend? Thanks

Lol, not yet, those are my downgrading from TA-082, Tomorrow I'll have a non TA downgrade tut for 2.6 and and 3.03 the day after with my cousin and friend's PSP, wish me luck and hope I don't brick them.
Sorry ,I'm a little vague on instructions for upgrading cause I didn't have time to shove in extra parts,I'll have those on by tomorrow

Count another successful 2.60 > 2.71 > 1.50 PSP downgrade. Thanks for the starter of the thread and the developer.
Note:
Just noticed some flames here, stating It doesn't work... then starts to rant... blah blah blah... It's just that they don't follow nor read the rules/steps clearly, results... bricked psp! Also, if you don't have the courage to try and put your psp(money) on the line... just pay for it or leave your psp that way. cheers!!!

Sorry, for a TA-082 2.81 you need the GTA downgrader for 3.03
