Well someone commented on another website asking why everytime he tried to use his PSP it went black, and he later found out he had bricked his PSP from using the TA-082 downgrader.

My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

TA-082 mobo with [2.71]

[2.71] ==> [1.50] ==> [3.02] OE-A ==> [3.02] OE-B

I just followed carefully the excellent guides made by awesome Afterdawn forum members. Thank you! :)

No problems encountered by the downgrade and upgrade process.

Now I'm playing PSP ISOs and PSX games. LOL! Hooray!

Thank you Dark_AleX!

I bought a 2.71 TA-082 and bricked it because I missed the 1st step of updating the keys.

I exchanged it and got another 2.71 and then successfully downgraded to 1.50
