Can anyone help?
I am trying to emulate 3.02 OE-B Firmware So i can play PSX Games on my PSP.
This is my PSP details:
Original Fw is 2.6, downgraded to fw 1.5,
using DevHook 0.51 to emulate 3.01.
Can anyne teach me how to emulate this 3.02 OE-B Firmware plss??

why dont you just update to oe-a.
try searching maxconsole for guide on how to emulate it

Or download OE-A from my sig and upgrade. Then get the OE-B upgrade from PSP-Hacks.

Wait, 1 question.
If i "REALLY" upgrade to 3.02 OE-A/B,
Is it downgradable to 1.5?
Plus,can i use homebrew on 3.02 OE-A/B?
Pls tell me info about it.

well you can come back to 1.5(dont know why you would though)
and obviously you can run homebrew on oe-b, why else would everyone update to it???

You can do all on OE-A plus more than on 1.50.
And OE-B you have the added bonus of playing PS1 games.

So is it really safe for me to upgrade my PSP
Firmware 1.5--------3.02 OE-A/B?
Can i play iso/cso's?
Should i remove Devhook too?

yeah it is safe, you can come back to 1.5 if you dont like it,
you can keep devhook if you want though its not needed cause oe-a can run them from the game menu like homebrew.
use the link in sudds sig

you need to "install" OEA, then "upgrade" to OEB

In my file you will see a readme, follow it and you cant go wrong.
You have to upgrade to 302 OE-A first before upgrading to OE-B which takes a matter of seconds.

Yup, I downgraded my TA-082 to 1.50 on ZERO hour yesterday. I'm happy as hell right now. I installed 3.02 OE-B and now I'm getting used to how it works. I'M still figuring out how to access the recovery menu. Does it have something to do with the folder recovery in the zip that comes with OE-A?

I'm thinking about getting a psp so I can play homebrew games.. I read that theres different versions. If I buy a brand new psp and its the newest version will I still be able to play homebrew games??? Is the only way you can play these games off the memory stick or can you burn them to a little disc?? Many Thanks

Megaman if I were you I'd keep devhook on. If you have any gamesaves they wont work with the games on 3.02 OE a/b. The ISO's work fine, they load with OE but when you try to load a gamesave it will be corrupt so you'll have to either restart the game from the begining or load devhook from OE and go into 2.71 and then you can play all the ISO's agian with the gamesaves working. A little bit of hassle but totally worth it to be able to play psx games on the psp.

i tried downloading version 2.7 onto my psp but i accidently popped the game out and it froze i turned it off and it won't come back on is there any way i can recover it???

dude, its bricked. you were told that in another thread... at least, i think it was you.
and just out of curiosity (if thats how you spell it?)...
i d/l'd a game and it was saved as .ini, so the place where i d/l'd it from say "convert from .ini to .cso"... so i done this in notepad, put it in the ISO (with one which does work) folder and it didn't even show up on my PSP. how do i fix this? i still have the .ini and .cso

And jsquinny9 you have bricked it.... getting a modchip is the only way to fix.
