Because my xbox has gone cockahoop since in tried to softmod it (no-one has yet to help me :( )
Is it at all possible to reboot an Xbox OS?
If so where and how would i get this?
Any help would be much appreciated!

You say your xbox has been acting weird when you softmodded it? Well you may have to start the softmod process completely over. This is a CON for doing a softmod, because if something goes wrong, you have to start over.

i cant get into the menu to remove the mod!!! it just auto loads the game i have tried to turnof the autoplay but not quick enough. How wud you start over?

Well when I have problems with my xbox (hardmod), when it starts up, I hold the white button down until it gets to the BIOS screen. I don't know anything about Softmods, but could you just not put a game in the system and start it up, and try to get to the screen?

no when u put the game in it goes to the error screen! thanks for your help. ill have ago this weekend if not hotswap seems the best i think!!??!!

no when u dont put the game in it goes to the error screen! i have managed to get into one of the menu screens ( the one where u backup eeprom) and have fiddled with the options there but to no avail!!thanks for your help. ill have ago this weekend if not hotswap seems the best i think!!??!! im in the process of aquiring the correct FTP etc....

Try sticking halo2 in and then going to the live bit..with luck it will update the dash and solve your problems.

i swear this is a great tutorial and 100% genuine!

my xbox is now back to original settings

but low and behold i am again going to try mod it LOL!!!

Seems like your previous attempt was corrupted.. Take care, and choose a safe exploit.. Pay attention to any seemingly small details, there are 2 versions of some softmods for PAL or NTSC...
I forgot to mention..you don't connect to live for the halo2 fix, just run the live update that is on the disk..a connection to a live account while in a messed up softmod situation will still get you banned....but you solved it anyway.. :) Happy modding....
