Cannot select a DVD in "Target Backup"

My friend currently has Shrink 3.2 and Nero 6.6.0.14.exe. When we get ready to backup the disc, We can't seems to select his DVD drive in the "select backup target". In preferences, the "enable burn with nero" box is clicked... I've never had this issue and have looked and tried most everything i can think of, but I can't figure this out. The only thing i can think of is that his DVD drive is newer than the software and therefore it won't recognize it.?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi UJOH
Does you friend have Burning Rom w/ their version of Nero? (may not if it's an oem version) That's what Shrink uses to autoburn.

Try updating Nero to the last version of 6 that autoburns w/ Shrink-
package 1 (burning rom, express, etc)
package 2 (recode, vision etc).
