Could you guys clarify this for me.

To cut a long story short, my son was playing fifa 07 on the psp last night with his cousin and I went to put the psp on today only to find it won't start up.

The powre light comes on for about 30 seconds and then the psp just knocks off. It's bricked!!!

As he's young (7) and not familiar with devhook or even the psp he was pressing different buttons and said he saw "updating" on the psp screen and he knocked off the psp.

So now I guess the psp is bricked.

So if I buy a motherboard from ebay, will this fix the psp?

I'm not familiar with the psp hardware so if I do get a motherboard, will I be able to install it myself or will I have to have it done professionaly?

Thanks
Sandisk

Thanks for the reply.

I'll buy a 1.5 motherboard from ebay.

I don't like the sound of "too HARD" lol

Is it fairly straight forward?

This is something I never thought I'd have to do.

Thanks
