hi guys praying someone can hekp before my head falls of i have been trying to burn ,dvd files and iso file but am having no luck i have a pioneer 111d with tdb 8.29 fw xbox ready to play backups clone cd but for some reason when i try to burn the .dvd file it starts writing the leadin gets to 1% then jumps to 100% and says write failed i have been reading everything there is but am having no luck please help

Common problem there man. Usually due to hardware acceleration. You'll just need to lower it mate. Presume you're running windows. Goto start run and type in dxdiag. Hit the sound tab, and then lower the hardware acceleration tab, and it should be running fine. Other than that man, post the contents of one of the .dvd files and I'll make sure they're right.

ps can u tell me why when i put copies or originals into the drive they are audiots and videots files

The folders are the only thing windows will recognise. Everything else is a different file system. If windows were able to see everything on the disc, you'd just be able to "copy and paste" a game to your hdd then burn a backup.

ive been reading for weeks and am having no joy can u shine some light for me please im doing everything in the tuts and am very clued up with pcs but this is making me insane
