PSP-1003 or IC6001 PLS HELP

Hi all

I m confused and hope someone can help I have a PSP with firmware 2.71 and want to play downloaded games and films

I have ordered a 4gb card

My box says PSP 1003; I have looked inside to see what motherboard I have and can only find IC6001 printed upside down and very hard to see

Can I play games and films as is or do I need to do some mods or need another program to make them work

Any suggestions would be appreciated
