problems with my PSP - cannot play UMD backups

hello,

i am having major issues getting the UMD backups i downloaded to work... lemme start from the beggining.

ok, i have this PSP with V 2.01 firmware running on it, i recently bought a 2 gb memory card, and i just discovered that there is a downgrade for 2.01.

ok, so i download eLoader on to my PSP and run the downgrader through it, downgrade to 1.5 was successful.

after the downgrade i installed Fastloader 0.7 and UMD Emulator.
i then got backup images of a couple games. a CSO of Sonic Rivals, and an ISO of Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPS. when i tried loading either of these images in both programs, my PSP would either freeze up or shut down...

then i discovered Dev Hook: Firmware Launcher (V 0.46), the one with the 2.71 firmware..

my dev hook settings are:

UMD MODE: UMD DISK
UMD VERSION: 2.xx to 2.00
FIRMWARE: 2.71
CPU CLOCK: 222 MHZ
BOOT SELECT: REBOOT UMD
the rest: disables

when i try launching either of the games the PSP reboots to 2.71, however it gives me an error messege, The game could not be started (8002014E).

i dont know what i did wrong.... like the programs open up, the firmware downgraded successfully, the ISOS are placed in the right folder.

if anyone can help, i highly appreciate it

i tried DEVHOOK 0.52 and it still doesnt work, my psp just shuts down

is there any other ideas or solutions in mind?

also, i was wondering

would the 3.02 OE-B firmware be a solution???
