HELP DOWNGRADED BUT UMD DOESN'T WORK

i have successfully installed Devhoook on my 2.71 psp
but i need to run a umd in order for the iso to work....
but my psp won't read umds anymore...and i have try moving the laser cradle back and forth and still don't work...

i just saw a post some where that if i upgrade the firmware to oe-b
then i would be able to run iso straight from memory card....

can anyone please ell me what i can do....i don't want to bring it out and let someone fix it...cuz they might upgrade the fw...

Well, installing devhook isn't really downgrading, its emulating a FW, and is your psp a TA-082 because I really don't know how to downgrade a non TA-082.


Also if it doesn't read UMDs you should really get it fixed, cause some ISOs won't run without a UMD.

a 2.71 psp can be downgraded to 1.5 then up to 3.02OE, which does indeed allow some games to run without umd
