umm nvm you tut. is easy to follow and i did lol but when i press o in that program and it goes to my menu nothing happens my icons are the same after i replaced the rco.? this does work on 3.02oe-b right? i used the 3.02 update for the psar file?

yes it does work for 3.02 oe-b, are you sure you put the plugin.rco file in the root of the memory stick, then you used topmenu flashe and flashed it to the flash0 folder?

yeah its this right...first screen to pop up on psp...mp_root/PSP/F0
do i put the F0 in the MP_root?<<<<nvm that didnt work..
EDIT GOT IT TO WORK!!! didnt know you had to put it on the root and in the F0 folder...nvm thanks for your help...in your guuide you should add it needs to be in both places...unless you did and i didnt read that spot...thanks for the help though..

lol thats funny that coz i did have it to say it should be in both places, but then i realised that if you put it on the root an then open the topmenu_plugin flasher it over writes the one in the flash 0 memory, its odd the way you had to put it in both places.
anyway i will change the tutorial back so it says you have to have it in both places.
glad you got it working, you might wanna try the fonts and gameboots now :)

oh im sorry mate, my tutorial said you have to put it in the x:f0/vsh/resource folder when i meant to put root. i am sorry about that but for future reference, you place the topmenu_plugin.rco file into the ROOT of your memory stick then open up topmenu flasher.
once again im sorry an will change the tutorial

kool but i havelooked at my gameboots tutorial and there is defanitely no mistakes in that lol, by the way if you use my tutorial it shows you how to put a gameboot on your psp of any size you like, this is good because 3.02 oe-b eats up nearly all of the memory on your flash0.

if you're usign the xmbpackager then they go into the icons folder, renamed as 1.bmp,2.bmp and so on

hmm bout the plugin.rco, it depends what plugin.rco file you are trying to flash, like if you want to change icons, the topmenu_plugin.rco you need psp filer or topmenu flasher ( i would recomend topmenu flasher)
and bout the flash 0, i dont have it, had to format mem stick. but if you want i can send you a flash0 builder...

i got it but after i run it its said choose out and outx folder after i choose the folders and click open then flash builder tool close. do u know what went wrong?

i got 1.50 is ther any other ways to change my icons? i been working for this more than a day. i've tried the first guide but everytime i click the start.cmd i still get error saying bmp2mig.exe has encoutered a problem. lol bad luck!
