okay i did get oe customizer, and i got it to load gameboots from ms0:psp/system but there dont seem to be a way to restore it. anyone know, it will save me upgrading and downgradidng. help appreciated

just set it to load gameboot from flash, which will load the default gameboot, unless you've flashed a different one

no1. i have downgraded and upgraded again. so the flash0 is formatted.
no2. i didnt get the option for it to load from flash.
ps i wont be using oe customizer again. but thanks for tryna help wolfie (Y)

I guess you didnt see the 'copy default gameboot' option in the gameboot settings. the OE customizer is the BEST for customizing the OE custom firmwares, with the exception of 3.10oe since you can't replace the topmenu_plugin.rco.

i semibricked my psp tryna flash the topmenu_plugin. :S it was problee coz i downloaded it off a thread on dcemu forums for theme creator lol.
and by the way i did see the option, but it would remain he same gameboot.not the original :(

no, it would have been the original cause it copies the original from the OE customizer system folder, which is the original

then reinstall the OE customizer since it comes with all the original files... fonts, gameboot, etc..

nah its okay. i am stickin at 3.03 oe-b firmware. that can do everything that oe customizer can do.

haha lol yup thats why i wait at least 2 weeks after release to upgrade...watching others sturggle with it priceless lol j/p...should just wait...bugs get fixed quikly 3.10oe-a2 is already out but im still gunna wait..

flashing the topmenu to a 3.10OE causes partial-brick or brick. (i forget which it is)

Just set your kernel to 1.50 in recovery mode and then run the 3.03oe-c noob installer found here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1043

When writting to flash, there is always a chance of bricking it, although if you follow the instructions, you 'should' be good to go. I've been an ircop on irc.toc2rta.com #psp-hacks a good long time now and have helped many 'n00bs' in just such a situation. ;)

kk i just did it and it gave me a 1.5. message "settings r currupt..." so im gona flash it again and see wat hapns. i think it gave me seeting r curupt cuz i was f*** with the font, themes, waves and so on.

if you get a blue screen, with alot of text on it, just press O, there is no need to reflash anything!

i know wat it is. i have dg b4. when i lookd at the vers. it said 1.5 so i just reflashed 3.03 and it worked
