can 2.71 upgrade to 3.02oe-a directly or do i have to downgrade to 1.5 first

and can anyone tell me where i can get the tutorial to do it???

If there is no IC1003 upside down on the top right corner inside the UMD drive, then you can use the NON-TA-082 downgrader. If there is text, use the downgrader for TA-082.
