Is anyone having problems burning Danika? I'm using upgraded AnyDVD 6.1, Shrink and even tried DVDFab and didn't work.

used AnyDVD 6.1.0.0. and CloneDvD2 from SLYSOFT had no
problems....
not much protection at all on this one shouldn't have
any problems.
try movie only also.

It keeps getting stuck at VTS_01_2.VOB. I don't get it. I should be a piece of cake. I've gotten all of the other movies. For years I've followed what you all say on the forum and this is the first time I had to join because I couldn't find anyone with this problem. I know this is a dumb question, but what do you mean "try the movie only".

I think I know what my problem is, the disk is scratched and I just saw it know. I'm trying to clean it with rubbing alcohol and dish soap. I was told to use that. Any suggestions on cleaning? Oh, by the way...thanks for your help!!!!

Not sure, but that sounds like it might make it worse, the alcohol may eat away at the coating?? Some suggest polishing using toothpaste, but I believe it will just fill the scratch with a compound which can prevent the laser from accessing the data.
Here is a suggestion that might work (depending on how deep the scratch is):
-Spray a little Pledge furniture polish onto the scratched CD/DVD, then gently wipe it all off from the inside of the disk to its outer edge (not in circles) with a soft micropore cloth (the kind used for eyeglasses). Just like on furniture, the clear wax should fill in the scratches and make the CD/DVD playable.
If you just can't get past that area on the disk, replace it if you can.

I appreciate your help. I gave up on Danika, but next time I come across another scratched disc (which is often) I will definitely try Pledge instead of the rubbing alcohol. I had no idea. What about the dish soap for cleaning the disc? Is that ok?

I have cleaned literally 1000's of comercial DVDs, many much more than once.
I find the High Purity Isopropyl Alcohol, 95+% to work best as the lower concentrations tend to smear greasy fingerprints and require more work.
The polycarbonate plastic used is very tough, although not very scratch resistant unfortunately. A little investigation will show that alcohol is a recommended organic solvent for cleaning grease and oils from polycarbonate.

Affirmative. Danika is NOT working. Tried it TWICE now, and it's a NO GO.
Will try "MOVIE ONLY"....in other words, take out the other garbage. Also, I have selected "remove trailers" on the Any Dvd....I will UNCHECK that, since on some movies, it may interfere.
Something must conflict somewhere. The disk freezes on 3 machines, so it's not just me.

After watching the movie, I decided it was not worth fighting with and gave up. Any other movie with a better story line, I would still be working on it.
