PSP Blender refund
I've seen some people asking how to get a refund from PSP Blender, since refund requests using PSPBlender support tickets are ignored.
I've seen two people say they got a refund by writing to ClickBank. ClickBank is the company that handles payments to PSP Blender. Here is the ClickBank email address for people who paid with PayPal:

Does anyone have a ClickBank email address for people who paid with a credit card?
I wrote to ClickBank yesterday. Below is a copy of the the letter I wrote, with one revision. In the original letter I wrote that some of what I said about PSP Blender was not explained anywhere on its Web site. I removed that here because I discovered today that there are some pages on the site, accessible to anyone who is looking for them, that do tell the whole truth about PSP Blender.

Dear ClickBank,
I would like to request a refund for a payment of $37 that I made for a PSP Blender membership.
PSP membership does not provide any product or service that is not already freely available to anyone who has Internet access. Furthermore, most or all of the files I found using the menus on the member pages, are copyrighted files which are being distributed illegally, and PSP Blender provides no way to determine which ones are being distributed legally. PSP Blender membership is completely useless for finding PSP downloads which are distributed legally.
The following statement appears at the top of the PSP Blender home page:
"PSP Blender offers PSP Downloads - Fill your PSP with Movies, Games, Music, Wallpaper"
The following question and answer appear on the "PSP FAQ" page:

Q: What is included with a PSP Blender Membership?
A: With your PSP Blender Membership you receive instant access to millions of files ready to be transferred to your PSP. This includes but is not limited to movies, television shows, video games, music, and PSP software.

After I registered, a page appeared with instructions for downloading, installing and using ”Torrent. ”Torrent is a program for downloading files, which is available for free on numerous Web sites accessible to anyone who has Internet access.
The "access to millions of files" is a database of links to files and Web sites that are freely accessible to anyone who has Internet access, and which can easily be found with any search engine. Most or all of the files I found are copyrighted files that are being distributed illegally. PSP Blender does not provide any way to determine which ones are being distributed legally.

Thanks for the info, it was very helpful, I to got sucked in for the membership as well (If it sounds to good to be true it probably is)DOH!!anyway I just sent off an e-mail to clickbank as well so hopefully I will get a refund to.

Do people still fall for these sites?
I guess they must do.
Don't hold out for a refund, these sites will most likely say somewhere that the software is available for free elsewhere but you are paying for the bandwidth to download it from them and the support they provide.
We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent...

I guess so. I've seen ClickBank marketing affiliates talking about the money they're making from it.
It fooled me, and that's the first time I've been fooled in my eight years on the Internet. I've seen other experienced people fall for it, too.

Absolutely,
Clickbank will process your refund.
Their information is on your receipt.
I buy a lot on Clickbank, with the understanding that if I don't feel that the product is worth it, I can always get a refund in the first 8 weeks.
Only once did a publisher try to refuse a refund.
So, I emailed Clickbank, let them know what was going on, they emailed me back and I had my credit the next day.
I have found that Clickbank is a really safe place to buy stuff.

I asked for a refund and no go. They said that the site clearly explains what is being offered. It appears that a lot of noobs sign up and think that games are magically going to appear on their PSP with little or no work.

Well I did get a full refund,but I dealt with clickbank and I instantly got a refund on my paypal account.I just used jims full letter and it worked,his letter must be very convincing,and as far as games magically appearing on your psp, that had nothing to do with it,the fact is you are paying psp blender for something you can get for free anyway,all they do is supply you with a bit torrent site.

zoomsixx, did you write to ClickBank? If you signed up with PSP Blender, you paid ClickBank, not PSP Blender. You need to write to ClickBank. ClickBank gives refunds without any questions asked, up to 60 days after the payment.
If you signed up with allpspgames or some other Web site that doesn't use clickbank, check your PayPal or Credit Card transactions to see where the payment actually went, and write to them. If all else fails, open a dispute with your credit card company. I can help you show that the Web site makes fraudulent claims, if there's any question about it.

Hahaha! Why would I want a refund? I just started getting my PSM mag subscription which itself is worth the price of the subscription. PSP Blender offers support is I have any questions. No thanks. You can take your personal vendetta elsewhere.

Some people might be confused by the multitude of fake reviews and articles, and ads and posts in PSP-related forums, promoting PSP Blender and other multimedia download frauds, so I've decided to post some information about that.
On the left side of the PSP Blender home page, there's a link labeled "Affiliates." It explains how people can make "the money they have always dreamed of" by promoting PSP Blender. It's called "affiliate marketing." PSP Blender is currently a popular ClickBank affiliate marketing product. A ClickBank affiliate gets paid for each click on one of his PSP Blender links that ends in a purchase. PSP Blender affiliates post fake reviews and articles, and messages in Internet discussions, promoting PSP Blender. The PSP Blender Web site, and the fake reviews and articles, are registered with popular search engines.

Targets of the frauds.

Some of the targets are people who are inexperienced in the world of multimedia downloads, or whose only experience is with authorized download repositories like Yahoo Music Unlimited. They are fooled into thinking that a fraud site is an authorized download repository, with a one time membership fee instead of monthly and/or per-download charges. Some of the fake articles say so explicitly:
"We studied market trends and realized that consumers would rather pay a one-time fee than pay monthly subscriptions or pay-as-you-go."
Even after they join, in the confusion created by the member pages, some of them don't realize it's a fraud, or that they are illegally downloading and re-distributing copyrighted files. They attribute the confusion, and the uselessness or poor performance of the Web site, to their own inexperience. Some of those who do realize it's a fraud, don't think there's any hope of getting a refund, or don't know how to go about it. In some cases, if not all, refund requests addressed to the Web site are systematically disregarded.

How to distinguish frauds from legitimate download sites.

- A legitimate download site enables its members to legally download all of the files it offers on its Web pages.
- A fraudulent site claims to offer unlimited access to millions of popular multimedia downloads, and displays names and images of copyrighted movies, music or games on its pages, but has a disclaimer that is hard to see or hard to find, saying that membership does not include a license to upload or download copyrighted material.

IMSwiss has been trolling all the gaming forums posting this garbage. He will spout it all day long. Whats his gain from it? Someone told me he actually works for Sony or that he possibly could be a competitor of PSP Blenders. Im sure they will come back with some witty response that they have copied and pasted from another site again. PSP Blender offers torrent files and they make that clear on their site. It appears that some newbies sign up looking for a magic way to transfer files to their PSP and the simple fact is that you have to know what you are doing. IMSwiss probably had their pride hurt when they were incapable of reading and understand the instructions on the site. I have a question for IMSwiss about their crusade since he seems to only target PSP Blender. What do you think of all of the other PSP download sites online. Are they offering anything different than PSP Blender?

Below is an elaborate explanation of what makes the PSP Blender site a fraud, that I posted earlier. I'm trying now to say it in more simple terms.
The PSP Blender site is deliberately designed, using elaborate trickery and deceit, to lead people to think that anyone who joins will then be able to legally download any of the movies, music, and games that they see offered on PSP Blender pages. That is false. Most or all of the movies, music, and games that appear to be offered on PSP Blender pages, can *not* be legally downloaded by any of its members who live in the US and some other countries, including most of Europe.
The PSP Blender site is deliberately designed, using elaborate trickery and deceit, to lead people to think that anyone who joins will find software on the site that makes it easy for anyone to download all the movies, music, and games they want, and transfer them to their PSPs, for free. That is false.

In case anyone thinks the word "fraudulent" is too strong, here are some things to consider:
First I will say that I only know of one statement on the PSP Blender Web site that can be proven false, in the strictest possible technical sense. (see note 1)
On the registration page:
"( 3 Days Left! Special Offer Ends Monday, January 22, 2007 )"
That message has been there for months. The ending date is always moved before it arrives.

Here's one definition of "fraud," from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary:

Let each person judge for himself. Consider what members actually get for their membership, look at the Web site, and consider the following:

1. Instructions for installing ”Torrent.
For those who don't know, ”Torrent is software that anyone can easily find, and download for free, on other Web sites. It's one of many free programs available for downloading files from popular file sharing networks.
2. Access to pages with links into publicly accessible file sharing networks, on other Web sites. Anyone can easily find the same files with any popular search engine, or even better with free file sharing search engines, and download them for free.
3. Technical Assistance?
I don't know whether to believe that or not. Anyone can easily find help using file sharing software and file sharing networks, for free, on the networks and in their forums.
4. Free magazine subscription?
That was a new one on me. I clicked on "Wallpapers & Extras." Under "November Members Bonus" it says "Join Now and Receive 12 Free Issues of PSM." November was two months ago. I don't know if people who joined in November or before actually got 12 free issues of PSP, or not. For now I'll just note that the current price for 12 issues of PSP magazine, on the magazine's Web site, is $10.00.

2. Apart from the words "share responsibly" and "using p2p safely" in nearly invisible fine print at the bottom of the page, there is no mention of file sharing.
3. Nowhere on the Web site is there any mention of ”Torrent or bittorrent or anythingtorrent.
4. The only mention of other Web sites is on the "Terms and Conditions" page. It only says that "This Site may produce automated search results or otherwise link you to other sites on the Internet," and thoroughly disclaims all responsibility for the content of the sites, and what you do with what you find. The link to that page is labeled "privacy," in fine print, at the bottom of the page.
5. Most or all of the music, games, and movies discussed on the site, are copyrighted. Apart from the nearly invisible fine print at the bottom of the page, and the "Terms and conditions page," there is no mention that membership does not include any license to download copyrighted material.

The PSP Blender Web site is full of invitations to join, in order download copyrighted material. Anyone in the US, or in most countries in Europe, who downloads the files displayed on its pages, using the menus on the member pages, is doing so illegally.

I've already answered that question. If a Web site appears to offer access to all the music, movies, and games you want, for a one time fee, and membership does not include any license to upload or download copyrighted material, then it's a fraud.

Thats exactly the type of response I would have expected. As I was saying. This guy obviously has nothing better to do than research and post garbage on PSP Blender. Think about it people. Its pretty obvious as to what is going on here. Who cares how they advertise. Im failing to see what that has to do with anything. Im defending service that I happen to be very happy with. I dont care what you think, psp blender rocks in my book. I actually found classified ads where IMSwiss posted the same exact things he posted here. Who's trolling here? This whole thread if full of IMSwiss comments that he has posted over and over again on various forums. I think that defines spam.

I noticed that the only site that IMSwiss left the full URL for happens to be a site that Im familiar with which happens to advertise Platinum Partner sites. Or maybe he is working with the site that is being spammed all over the place these days allpspgames. Do a search for that on Google. As a matter of fact this forum is full of ads for allpspgames. I think whats going on here is starting to become clear. Anyways, post it up IMSwiss. I wish you the best in your crusade. Copy and past your heart out.

When I first read that, I understood that *some* of the links on the PSP Blender site *might* lead to copyrighted files on file sharing networks.
"We do not condone piracy or breaking copyright laws."
With those disclaimers, and all the warnings about copyrighted material on file sharing networks, how would anyone guess that *everything* PSP Blender pretends to offer is on those networks?
