but they provided there portion of the service, giving u access to unlimited supply of games,movies,music......
oh and u can't tell me u really though psp blender was like Itunes or Yahoo! Music Unlimited. or even Napster.
it's all about how they word the contract you signed, and if u could understand it fully or not. did u research it much before u signed up and gave them your money?
they advertise, PSP games, Movies and Music.
now how u going to tell me u can download say a movie or game for the psp for less then it retails for and be able to download more them for a lifetime for less then the cost of buying a game? and have it not sound shady?

I've learned from painful experience that it's worse than useless to try to communicate with someone who has decided that I'm lying about my thoughts and feelings.

never said u were lying, just trying to figure out why a little flag didn't go off, sayin this can't be right.....until after u found out it was p2p stuff....but oh well, sorry u lost ur money, but it happens. gl trying to get it back, and just be more attentive in future situations.

Ok, I'll go a few more rounds before I decide there's no hope for communication.
I already got my refund. ClickBank gives instant refunds, no questions asked, up to 60 days after the payment.
I'll take you at your word, that you're just trying to understand, and tell you the whole story.
First, you might need to know that before this my only experience with p2p networks was once when I tried to use bittorrent to download some Linux ISOs. There was nothing illegal about that at all. Before this I never had any personal experience with illegal multimedia p2p distribution, and I didn't even know that bittorrent was being used for that.
My wife had just got a new PSP, and she was was looking for free games to put on it. She had seen ads for allpspgames somewhere. They're all over the place, in PSP-related forums, and in search engine results and sponsored ads. She was all ready to sign up, and I suggested that we look for some reviews, to see if there was anything better.
At the time, I didn't know anything about PSP games. I didn't know anything about the prices, and I didn't know that the Sony games were the only ones available that would work on our PSP.
Allpspgames listed its price of 44.95 as a special offer, marked down from 89.95. 89.95 seemed plausible to me for a lifetime membership, and 44.95 seemed plausible to me as a limited time introductory offer. I've seen many introductory offers, for many things, that were true even though they seemed impossible. The fact that I saw several other Web sites with similar offers, made it all the more plausible to me.
I searched for reviews of PSP download sites, and everything I found about PSP Blender was favorable. If I had just searched for "PSP Blender," I would have seen some of the articles and posts saying it was a scam, but I was looking for reviews of PSP Download sites in general.
Between allpspgames, and PSP Blender, PSP Blender looked better to us, so we signed up.
Keep in mind that:
1. I didn't know anything about what PSP games were available at what prices.
2. My only experience with multimedia downloads was with iTunes, Rhapsody, RealPlayer, and MindDawn.
3. My only experience with p2p was in legally downloading Linux ISOs.
4. The PSP Blender Web site is meticulously designed to look like a legal repository of multimedia files.
I didn't even see the disclaimer at the bottom, and the reference to p2p. It's in nearly invisible light gray fine print, outside of the frame that encloses everything else. The link to the Terms and Conditions page is separated from all the other links at the bottom, next to the copyright notice, and labeled "privacy." I never read privacy notices any more. If it had been labeled "Terms and Conditions," I might have read it.
I did skim through the FAQ. There's nothing in the FAQ about p2p, or file sharing, or other Web sites. The only possible clue is the question about legality. I was puzzled at first about what privacy had to do with it, but I've had some bouts with spyware and adware, so I thought that PeerGuardian was some kind of anti-spyware. The word "Peer" in the name didn't tip me off because my only personal experience with p2p was with those Linux ISO's, a few years ago, and I don't even remember it being called peer-to-peer.
After we signed up, Patty said she couldn't download anything, and she was all confused about what was going on, so I tried downloading a few files. After fifteen minutes or more, none of the downloads were completed, and the ones that were near completion seemed to have frozen. I eventually noticed that all my searches at PSP Blender were taking me to other Web sites. Finally, after some research, I realized that they were bittorrent file sharing networks, and that the files I was trying to download were being distributed illegally. That's when I decided to try to get a refund.
I wasn't sure at first that I could rightfully ask for a refund. By that time I had seen the disclaimer at the bottom of the PSP Blender home page, which put my case in doubt, and the FAQ only promises a refund "If you have met the minimum requirements but still have trouble because of hardware issues."
I decided to leave it to PSP Blender to decide, so I submitted a support ticket for a refund, explaining that the site was not what I had thought it was.
After some more research, I saw that the whole thing is a deliberate, blatant fraud, and I learned how to get a refund from ClickBank.
The only response from PSP Blender was to ask us to describe our problem so they could help us.

What's with all the hate towards IMSwiss?
I for one found him very helpful. He did not attack PSP Blender; all he did was clarify the details involved in its membership. And he did so in clear straight forward manner with a level of respect.
PSP Blender uses methods advertising to intentionally give false impressions of the services they offer. After sifting through all the fine print and legal jargon, one realizes what little services they do offer can readily be found on other website for free (like this one for example).
As for the free demos link posted earlier, all of that content was originally released on the Sony website for free.
I was tempted by PSP Blender's offer and decided to research it. I have used torrents in the past and understand how they work. I know it's possible to get PSP content through them but felt uncomfortable downloading copyrighted material. I saw PSP Blender as a potential solution to the liability related to the downloading of copyrighted material, but because of this thread I see that this is clearly not the case and that PSP Blender offers no form of liability protection or rights to access copyrighted material.
So I just wanted to say thank you, Jim, for answering my question in a clear and frank manner.
I must admit that I'm confused by the people who attacked IMSwiss's integrity, in doing so it only made me question your own integrity, as I can see no motive for such a response.
If you're happy with your membership to PSP Blender (or any other similar site) well then I'm happy for you, but there is no need to attack somebody else for simply providing information.

I have seen that many people have gotten fool by pspblender. i was about to sign up for the site but after seeing what it really does i have changed my mind.
I still dont know how to add psp games to my psp even tho i have downloaded them from the internet. if someone can help me i would be verry thankful.

You are saying you dont know how to transfer games to your PSP. Let me guess. You are wondering why your PSP wont play your RAR file or the .torrent file that you downloaded and its showing as being corrupted and you have firmware version 3.10. You are correct in one way, some people cant benefit from PSP Blender and should never attempt to do something that is way over their head. I have and Im happy. I know what Im doing as before I didnt.

Signed up to PSP Blender to downgrade my psp to 1.50 and was disappointed to find that what you?re actually paying for are links to other sites that are actually free. I have sent the email to clickbank to hopefully receive a refund. The only good thing that came of this was that I came across this site and was able to get all the info and files I needed to downgrade and upload iso's. Not normally one to pay out money for sites like this but there advertising is very misleading. Moral of the story

Am I getting this correct. You needed help sending the email? You couldnt do that on your own somehow. Maybe the internet in general is a little over your head.
I always wondered who was using ISPs like AOL, Earthlink etc.. Maybe they do have their time and purpose.

BTW. PSP Blender has a database of their own homebrew applications. It wouldnt matter where some of the guides and downloads were located. It wouldnt help some people who have 0 clue what they are doing. I dont think anything could help them.

Isn't that their market? The clueless people are the ones who are attracted to these services and thus fall victim to their scheme. What's the point of buying a service which claims to expedite the process of running homebrew applications if it is actually only for advanced users? And don't they claim to have support services so that you always have someone to answer questions? These fraudulant services would be ideal for the clueless PSP user (if it actually worked).

Yes. Actually they do claim to offer support services. I was rather clueless in the beginning and was educated by someone from their support who helped me decide which firmware version to use and walked me though the entire process. Was that worth my money, heck yes. Some people are beyond support and beyond reading comprehension for that matter. I believe most people think games or homebrew applications are just magically going to appear on their PSP. When someone doesn't even know how to create a folder on the PSP memory stick or know how to find out what firmware version they have and they are either unwilling or unable to look something like that up for themselves I would say they should stick to buying content in the store and leave the difficult stuff for people who have the ability to read or type a message and ask.

PSP BLENDER is FULL OF IT! The prey on n00bs by promising them free, legal games, music, and movies. Even in thier FAQ someone asks is this legal? they reply absolutly. now come on, you pay 37 dollars which is less than the price of new release psp games. They also say they provide free movies and music. Thant is bs along with all the other scam websites out there like allpspgame. you want to save 37 dollars...
THEY ARE SUPER 100% ILLEGAL TORRENTZ(unless you own the game ofcourse)
All they do is sell you a torrent site along with PSM Magazine Subscription (best magazine ever!!!)-> which you can easily get for 10 bucks...

zoomsixx, why are you so hostile towards people who need help and are not oriented with psp/computer. Are you just mad because you paid 37 dollars for a service you could have easily found on these forums. seriously, I was about to sign up to PSP Blender about a month ago, but i realized that people on this forum know it all, and now im running custom firmware and playing back up games. That is way better than what PSP Blender promised.
another thing: they claim it works on all firmwares, a month ago before the goofy expliot via GTA unpatched??? how does that make sense, thats not possible. PSP blender is just out to make a quick buck no matter who they scam.

Why would you think I was hostile? Because I said I was happy with PSP Blender and I thought their service was worth it. Becuase I think some people dont have the level of common sense to handle it doesn't mean Im hostile. These forums dont even come close to what I got from PSP Blender. try asking around here how to downgrade your PSP with a complete walk through and then how try and ask how to load ISO games and see where that gets you. I prefer the 1 on 1 attention I got plain and simple. No searching at all was needed. I got all I needed in 1 place and the support to back it up. This could go on and on I know. Its all free blah blah blah. I could get anything for free if I wanted.

They said it worked on all firmware version when I signed up as well. I asked for further explanation and they explained that the videos and music work on all firmware versions as well as music and the PSX eboot files. Which was possible at the time. They explained that downgrading may be required for some firmware versions and they explained all of different firmware options I had and which one would be best for what I was wanting to do.
Their FAQ actually says
"PSP Blender is 100% legal as we do not condone the illegal downloading of copyrighted material. By joining PSP Blender you agree that you have read and understand our safety agreement."
PSP downloads are illegal. Ive heard it, we all know downloading copyrighted material is illegal yet at least 98% of the people crying about it are still doing it. Torrent files are illegal. Do the research and see how much of the internet traffic actually is from torrent files. It seems the people crying about the illegal torrent files just didn't know what they were doing and were unwilling to learn. They wanted a magic way to have files instantly appear on their PSP and with the ability to start playing them at the same time.

EXACTLY...they say they condone piracy yet they clearly state that they can get you games for a fee of 37 dollars. hmmm... now how does that make sense? they contradict themselves. the say FREE GAMES in big letters then the say its illegal.You proved me right.
(if you illegally download games your a loser!!! you're destroying the industry that we all enjoy/ without your money how will game creators continue making games? + as clearly stated piracy is not tolerated in these forums)

I think your just pissed because you payed 40 dollars for something I or any of the hundreds of the people on these forums could have explained to you in a paragraph for free. heck, if you would have typed "iso on psp" into google you would have gotten many guides. So why don't you get it for free? You must have more money than me mate, to pay for info you can get for $0 with a 30 second Google search.

Just because you think its a scam doesn't mean everyone else agrees with you. Get over it. If I wanted to troll forums and get advice I could do that but I prefer the 1 on 1 attention I get from PSP Blender. They helped me out with downgrading and and I can download homebrew or whatever else I wish. They keep me updated on the scene with emails etc.. Their service is definitely worth it in my book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Im not promoting piracy. I dont actually download copywritten material. Just home brew apps usually. I was stating facts about downloading materials from the internet in the form of torrent files. Torrent files are actually not illegal and neither are the PSP files I download. It really seems like a lot of selective reading going on here. Maybe thats the problem.
What I was trying to get across was that most of the comments about illegal PSP downloads is complete rubbish.
