Today i decided to play metal gear solid (ps1 game) on my ps2 but i put in the cd it just stops on a black screen then goes the browser screen where i can view my memory cards. Please help


P.S. i took apart my ps2 to clean it because sometimes it gets very dusty and this sometimes fixes the problem.

Do you get any DRE messages or anything, just goes straight to browser? Check that the disk spins, and the laser lights up, does it do this with every game?
