is it possible to re-install the 1.5 fw to a PSP?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology.. |

need more information on what you have already done
- if you mean can you downgrade then yes you can but you need to check if its compatiable with your psp

yes i have already downgraded my PSP from 2.8 to 1.5 but as mentioned in my other thread i cannot load anything from the GAME folder so i wondered if reinstalling 1.5 would reset the gameboot?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

you got to upgrade to 2.0fm
then EASILY downgraded back to a fresh 1.5 which i suggest you do

thanks for replying so fast but is there any way of updating to fw 2.0 without loading it from the GAME folder because i cant load anything from that folder

through a umd game, i know that GTA LCS has the 2.00 update
by any chance do u have custom firmware

no do not have custom fw just did a straight downgrade from 2.8 to 1.5
1 more question - is there any way to downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5 without having to access the GAME folder?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

once you upgrade to 2.0 everything will work fine, then you just need to downgrade using mph downgrader over at psp-hacks

oh no! same problem! when i go to access the 2.0 update from the UMD disc the same thing happens - prince of persia gameboot loads then freezes then shuts down!
any other ideas?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

theres no other way, this happend to someone i knew, he returned it and got a new one
you should do them same if you still got a warranty on it
