Low Volume When Conerting DVD To PSP

I have converted a few DVD movies to MPEG-4 for PSP (Saved on the Pro Duo Memory Stick). I have used both CloneDVDMobile and Nero Recode to do the conversions. Using either of these programs the volume is extremely low when playing the vidoe on the PSP. In fact the volume is so low that at max volume you can't hear well enough to watch the movie. You have to have earphones.

As far as I can tell, using the programs mentioned above, I cannot make any adjustments to increase the volume.

Does anyone have suggestions or prior experience with this?

Thanks touran22. Now, how to use it? I'm usually pretty quick at figuring this stuff out but this product is difficult to understand. I found some info on the Video 9 website and followed it but when I was done converting, Video 9 had converted all the VOB files individually to MPEG 4 instead of into one movie.

Is there a tutorial or guide somewhere? My starting point is VOB files ripped from the DVD and stored on my HDD.
