Everytime I extract using schtrom 3.1, my burn always ends up completing successfully but the 360 will display "The Disc Is Unreadable" then it suggests I clean it. If I extract using xbox backup creator 2.3, it also works fine for the burn and it will actually play in the 360 like it's supposed to. Both extraction processes end up with a 7.05gb file and a smaller .dvd file. So far I have had 2 of 2 fail using schtrom and about 8 of 8 success using xbox backup creator. What could be the problem? Also, I have xtreme5 firmware on a ms25. My brothers' does the same thing on his ms25 but will work on the xbox backup creator like mine. I burn using Verbatim DVD+R DL at 2-2.4x.
Also, in case you're wondering I used stealth backup both times for schtrom.
I'm saying everytime I extract using schtrom, it gives me a disc which "should" work, but it will give me "This disc is unreadable" error. It will do the same for my brothers xbox 360 which is same firmware as mine (xtreme5). When I extract files using xbox backup creator, everything works great.
How would burning at a faster speed resolve anything?
With all due respect, I said which version I was using. Its in the first sentence of this thread. I've figured that my problem doesnt lie within the burning but the extraction. This is because it will always work with XBC and never with Schtrom.
