Okay. So.... I'm new to torrenting scene and stuff.

And I torrent a backup for UMD and open the folder and all I see is.

dfc-muae.001
dfc-muae.002
dfc-muae.003

Note that these are NOT RAR files - they are 001, 002 and 003 files... so no "oh just use WinRAR and extract it" advices please.

Anyone know how to get this solved?

WOAH THERE,

we are here to give you advice, please dont be so brash.

torrents ? no

newsgroups ? yes

the benefits of using the usenet far outweigh torrent sites.

1.go to www.newsleecher.com and download the newsreader software
2.you need a news server i use www.usenetserver.com
3.you will have to pay for these your newsreader is 15$ and your reader 3$ per month
4.go to http://www.abgx.net/filename/?ch=2
5.type in your game next to where it says folder and it will search.
6.copy and paste the filename into your newsreader super search and away you go.

***you must own the original game to download and use the iso's***

Sorry for the "brashness..." in my post. I guess it comes from staying up all night trying to get the damm thing to work >< >< and also from reading other posts similar to mine that just got ignored ><

Anyways I'll give the suggestions a try. Thanks a lot again

right click ,open with ,choose WinRAR in the program list and then click extract

i downlladed a torrent like that.. it was now a WinRAR file.. but i chose to open with WinRAR anyway and it worked. Just unzip the file nubered 1 and the rest will follow by themselfs. hope this helps
