Hello All and a Happy New Year.
We all know the moral issues relating to downloading games/movies etc so no one liners please "Downloading games is illegal"
A friend visited me here in the UK from Australia in September (an avid games player, PS2) and understood the above game, banned in Oz would be available here. I ordered it for him in PAL format only to find after a long wait that it was also not going to be released here.
I have since obtained a copy of the game and am at a loss how to proceed as I am not able to test it for him before posting to Australia as I know nothing about games machines let alone own one.
If this was a movie I would burn it to a rewritable DVD, try it and if I wanted to keep it burn it again to a cheaper 'one off' disk.
The file I have is called "Rule Of Rose [PS2DVD][PAL][Multi5]" containing 34 rar files, "rom-ror.r00 to rom-rar.r31", "rom-ror.rar" and "rom-ror.sfv"
Using WinRAR and starting with rom-rar.r00 they are now combined in a new folder and the file is called "rom-ror.iso" and is 2,660,480 Kb.
Going one stage further with Power Iso I end up with 3 folders called Data, Modules and Movie, a couple of SpeedDial shortcuts called "iopconf" and "system", the original "rom-ror.iso (same size)" and a file called "SLES_542.18" of 2400 Kb.
These are the questions I have if any of you can help.
1/ I assume the game should be burnt to a DVD given its size?
2/ Using Nero do I just burn the "rom-ror.iso" that is 2,660,480 Kb or do I open it up with Power Iso and burn everything from there?
Like I said I am unable to test this myself so would appreciate any help before posting anything to Oz.
Regards,
Ken
Well I guess I have touched a never somewhere so can anyone tell me where I can get a LEGAL copy of 'Rule of Rose' in PAL format and not at Ebay inflated prices.

Ken
