ok basicly i dumped wwe smackdown 2006 on my memory stick and tried to run it but it doesn't work. It freezes at the menu. But it worked once when i was pressing start with some pattern but i forgot how i got it to work. Firmware is 1.50 and i'm using devhook .46. And also, what is all this talk about custom firmware? There seems to be way to many versions and i just need a bried explanation as to which is the safest to use for a 1.50 user.

custom firmware is basically a mix of two firmwares, usually 1.5 and whatevers current. lets take for example 3.02 oe-b. with the mix of 1.5 and 3.02 oe-b you get to play 99% of your homebrews, play isos, etc because of 1.5, and you also get the perks of 3.02 such as playing psx games, music visualization, internet surfing, etc. As well, with the new 3.02oe-b theres no need for devhook because you would not have to emulate firmware or mount an iso. hoped that was a good description for you.
