Xbox 360 Freezing

Hi all have my 360 less than a month now it has a samsung drive ms25 in it> First modded it with xtreme 5.0 and played backups great then recently there was the xtreme 5.1 I remodded to that and worked fine as well all games worked. Now today i just burnt my call of duty 3 backup and was trying it to make sure it works then i was faced with an update i did that and played the game online worked great. After that i was going to sit back and continue lost planet when i loaded the save game the 360 just frose and had a long beep stops when i cut off the 360. And i tried again and it freeze even before the game could finish start up, now it just keep freezing and freezing with that beep. Took off my hdd cooled the box it self but it wasn't that had it had got far hotter before and cooled the power supply and tried again with lost plant no freeze everytime at the begining on mountains of a cutscene. Tried my originals freeze with the beep also. Basically now it dosen't work freeze for everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I forgot to mention after messing with it a few more times lately i get the blinking lights and this is the error code i get "0103" and once got this onscreen error "E71".

E71: possibly a dashboard update error, there is no solution at present the console must be sent back to MS for repair

Why cant u send it back?They usually dont check the warrenty sticker
Even if they do, whats the worst that can happen, they wont repair it for free because the warrenty is void. They will ask if you want it repairing for a fee. Better trying than having it sit in your front room a nice white brick

Ooops may bad- Didn't read the whole thing!
error 0103 means there was a bad firmware update!
I would try to reflash it!

Ok to "Mrlip" feedback. Well its cause i live out of the US central america to be exact and shipping that to the US is really gonna kill me with price. To "Domreis" i really don't think its the falsh i was working great before that call of duty 3 update i taught of that too and reflashed it back to its original firmware too and worked only the originals as should but freeze.

yes call of duty 3 was a backup.

Wow idk if this is a coincidence, same thing has happened after i booted call of duty 3 into my console. i have, rather had, a hitachi flashed with firmware 2.3 and i've had it flashed since it came out. as soon as i put cod3 into it, it started freezing, beeping, and i witnessed the infamous red lights of doom. i think it has something to do with the game. maybe something in it does something with the firmware. when i get back at home ill post the exact name of the torrent to compare. for now i'm returning my console for a brand new one

i just get call of duty 3 but i´m thinking twice before i try it,BTW is the game PAL or NTSC?
does anyone played a COD 3 backup with no problems ?

hey just got home the name of the torrent i downloaded is called "Call.Of.Duty.3.PAL.XBOX360-DAGGER" is says PAL but it's region free so i was able to play it on my NTSC system

i get my games from a newsgroup but right now i cant say what is the name of the release i just now that the game is ntcs

Yap when i put on the game for the first time it said that there was an update for this game and I went ahead and accept the update played online and everything and when i was finished iwent back to my dashboard and wanted to play another game and thats where all the problems started.

maybe the update is the problem
this is strange the same game
modit you have a samsung drive and gamer 0313 as a hitachi (like me) and both had the same problem
this is what i'm going to do i will burn the game probably tomorrow and only try it on the weekend then if it ask for an update i wont do it , i will reply then to say what happen.

the only thing i don't quite remember is if it asked me to update when i tried to play online or whilst the game was starting at the main menu. I tried it again last night with another 360 with a ms28 drive this time and could have started a single player campaign and everything but i didn't want to try the play online cause i don't want the same thing to happen to this other 360.

just tried the game it didn't work i get the message saying unrecognizable disk ,and says to contact microsoft technical support
now i'm not sure if it is a coaster or not,if it is a coaster is the first after 6 good backups,
after i tried gears of war and saints row and both work, but i didn't play long enough to see if it will start freezing or having any other problems
