Can I burn AVI files to dvd-r discs and play them in a dvd player?

I was just wondering if I could take .AVI files such as the kind of files you download off kazaa and play them in a dvd player? Any help would be greatly apprecated. Send all help to...

remove your email address.

You will have to cnovert using TMPGEnc to mpeg format. then use TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert to VOB
