What are the advantages of downgrading a 2.71 ta 82 to a 1.5? I heard of how to do it, but what good thing comes in return? Would I need devhook to run homebrew or iso's? I really only use devhook so i can use the vcs cheatdevice.

You can then update to 3.02 OE-A then upgrade to 3.02 OE-B which gives you a playstation 1 and the capabilities of a 1.50 PSP. Which meens, homebrew! <3

Ya, also, you dont need to run devhook all the time to play isos. and you can use all the 1.50 homebrew with oe-b.

If I downgrade to a 1.5 and then update to 3.02 oea then would it permantly be 3.02 or could I go back to 1.5?

oe-b has a 2.6 downgrade built in, so you could downgrade it to 2.6 then update it to 2.71 then downgrade it to 1.5.

idk if the 2.6 downgrade is confirmed not to brick ta-082's though. and as nice as playing all the games u find off the mem card ive found one or 2 that u have to have dev hook to play, nfs most wanted for instance.
