okay use image burn or indeed xbox backup creator to burn as the layer break info changes slightly , all though they are xbox one games they still need to be burned on to dual layer media and booktyped to rom , you also will need to download a update from microsoft to allow you to playback the games on your 360.
Are you sure about downloading the "default. something" file. Last weekend, I downloaded this "default.somthing" file from microsoft site, burned it on a dvd to only realized that my son was already playing the xbox - fable (original) game on his new 360. I never had to install the default file. The console also worked with xbox Halo2 (original). Could it be that the new 360s' are already set to play xbox game or only some games need the update file?
P.S. However, I was never able to play a backed up xbox game on this modchip modded 360 console.
Good deduction Phatsua but my 360 is not on line (no internet connection in the basement where the 360 is located)plus my 11 year old son did not use the computer to figure out about the patch, find it, download it, burn it on DVD and install it on the 360. It just sticked the xbox game in and played. My 360 was manufactured in November 2006. The patch might have been pre-apply at the factory.
