TA-082 Downgrade from 3.02

Although being in the IT business for a number of years, I'm pretty new to gaming. I have a PSP and figured out it has a TA-082 motherboard. After configuring Wi-Fi, it automatically updated the firmwire to the latest version of 3.02.

After doing some research, I've figured out I would need to at least downgrade to version 2.71 if I want to run any ISO games on my PSP. Is there any way to downgrade to 2.71?

no way.. absolutly no way your psp can automaticly update without you making it. and no u cannot downgrade a ta-082 fw 3.02

Thanks for your response. Being a novice (and it seems an idiot!) I probably accepted the update and not realised that I did it.

I've done a bit of digging since posting my last message and realised I have to play the waiting game and hope someone comes up with a solution.

yep.. but if there is a downgrader. you're lucky! just make shure you dont upgrade for a long time.. it might get tempting for a while but try not to upgrade.

i upgraded my ta-082 to 2.71 on june 2006.. i waited and just a few days ago they released the downgrader. its long but when its finished.. it so good

I read somewhere that someone is currently working on 3.01, so I'm hoping it's not too long a wait. Having said that, it's worth it!
