i got a 2.50 psp so will i be able to use 3.02oe-a? and what about the location free player i heard that it won't work with 3.02oe-a?

Yes, you are able to update to 3.02 OE. I never heard that in 3.02 OE-A disable Location Free Player. update it to 3.02 OE-A then try it. If does not work then downgrade it back to 1.5 :)
