UNPLAYABLE DISC

Hi everyone!
Yesterday I've burned a backup of my PES6 game. But when I've put the disc into the X360 drive, I've got an error: UNPLAYABLE DISC. So I have put the original PES6 into the drive and it works perfectly.
I've used google too gather some information about my problem,but in most cases the problem re the originals too.And my is about the backups only.
Here's the hardware I use:
Xbox 360 drive: Hitachi 0078fk + Maximus 360 Firmware Toolbox 3.0
My DVDRom: LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-832S with VS0M firmware
The discs I've used: Esperanza DVD+R DL
Speed: x2,4 with DVDDecrypter(for the 1st time) and CloneCD 5.3.0.0(for the 2nd)
I hope that it is the Lite-On or those crappy discs fault...
Anyway, if you guys have any idea about: what's the cause of the Unplayable disc error, please let me know. Regards and Happy New Year!

bad media!
try verbatim DVD+R DL. It works 100%.
Lite-On is great to use. Got same lite-on as you. What program did you use to create iso? from what I heard Sony makes this brand.

More than likely Sony used Lite-On hardware and branded it Sony.

Hey i got this same problem and can't figure it out?? i backed up wwe smackdown and burned it with Clonecd at 2.4x using Verbatim DVD+R DL, but got unplayable disc error. When i did my Rainbow 6 it worked just fine. I don't know whats the issue cause when i put the disc in the computer to see if anything is on it, it has the same set up as Rainbow 6, but its working. Any help will be useful thanks guys

how do you make the backup?wxripper method(hotswap) or with the samsung 162c and kreon firmware?
if you used wxripper method,there are 3 things that could be wrong
1.the media type,use verbatim or fujifilm DVD-R DL,works great for me
2.check if you changed your booktype to dvd-rom
3.if you used ss merger,you merged the wrong ss code

Thank you guys for your suggestions!
I will try the Verbatims as soon as I get them. I also bought the Pioneer DVR 111d, just to be sure,taht it isn't the DVR fault :)
One more thing. I bought today the Gears of War game (definitely worth to buy!) ,and I want to have a backup of it (just in case). So if I download an iso of the game, how will I know,that the iso is patched??
I've checked the nfo file so far, and there is no such info about if it's patched or not.
So if you have any idea how to check it,please let me know. Thank you very much. Regards! :)

make the backup by yourself,best way to do it,then you now for sure its patched

i had this problem to. it plays perfectly sometime then other times theres a disc read error. I would say tho use verbatim in the future. althought they are more expensive they really are the best media

Yes, I know it's the best way to do it, but i also takes ages to comlete...at least in my case. I've made the backup of my PES6 in about 4h,and to make any backup you must disassemble the console,so it takes too much time. And that's the reason why I prefer to download the copy of my orginal game,that I own..
So please again,if any of you know how to check if the .iso is patched, please let me know. :)

in that case,look for a site called xbox sky tracker
you can check info of the iso(torrents) and normally,it wil say,prepatched or something,so you know its patched,good luck

dude, you can always repatch using the ss.bin if you are not sure if the iso is patched or not.
