Help with running iso files in 3.02 oeb

Hi All, I just did some changes in the FW of my psp, 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.02 oeb. Before running any iso games, I changed setting in RECOVERY to "No-UMD" and "1.50 kernel". However, I am only successful in running game in CSO format, which is "Pro Evalution Soccer 6". The games that don't run are "NBA 2006", "GTA liberty stories", which are in ISO format.

Is it possible that CSO is the preferred format over ISO under FW 3.02oeb? If not, since the "NBA 2006" iso file was from 2005, is it also possible there is newer version of ISO format that is required for 3.02oeb?

Try to not mess with the config. Disable the NO-UMD and change back the kernal. Mostly it will work.

You don't need to change back the kernel.

Just turn off noUMD as some games are not compatible with it (if you turn noUMD off you will need to insert any UMD to run a ISO).

You can mess with the config all you want (in some cases you may need to, e.g when you want to make your PSP region free). Just dont mess with anything in "Advanced" for now.
