Hi, i was wondering, i just purchased a PS2 Duo 3 Modchip (V1-V16) and my dad was going to install it because he has built PC's with tiny chips on the motherboard and what not, but i would like to know is the chip i got easy to install or should i get it done at a store?

When soldering to the ps2 motherboard you must be careful, the main problem is that if you heat the solder pads for too long, then they will lift of the board, which will probably damage them, use a 10-20W fine tip soldering iron. Steady hands will also be needed, some of the points are very close together, you will need precision to solder them without shorting them.

Success! It worked! Well the reason it worked is cause I got it done by a Pro. LOL! I thought I would probably stuff it so I thought I shoould get it done by a pro and it worked! YAY!
