Hi i was reading information about the samsung SH-D162C dvd rom an it said that i couldn't read d/l dvds so after you flash it with the right firmware how can it???, thanks

this dvd rom drive after you flash it with kreon .81 will read xbox 360 games.

i use this drive too,you just install it in your pc,flash it with kreon(simple)and then it just works like a normal dvd-drive,exept,if you insert a 360 game,and use xbox backup creator,that program can read en copy your 360 game

you can also go on ebay and buy one, i only paid 60.00 shipped to the door and it was already pre-flashed, just pop in the comp and go, i prefer schtrom360xtract v3.0 over all programs, that program equipped with clonecd is the ultimate 360 backup solution imo.

60.00 that must be dollars right ? there is another samsung drive available in the usa on ebay that works too :)

ya that is in belgium,if you convert whatever money you have to canadian plus shipping fees will probably be same price, actually i am pretty sure that the drive i ordered was from berlin,maybe thats why yours was so cheap.

What is the other drive that you can use? I'm trying to find one but don't really want to pay $60. Can you help me out?
