Hello, newb question i know, but ill cut to the chase, i just finished upgrading/downgrading from a TA-082 2.6>2.71>1.5>3.02OE-A/B. I had read on other forums that it was possible to load iso files from the XMB, do i need to install devhook, im very confused as to the naming of the folders (game150 or game1.50) and where they should be placed. If anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated

no devhook is needed with the oe. Just make a folder named ISO in the root of your memory stick. Place your isos in there. From xmb menu just got to ms under game. Works like a charm!

which mean i must have a umd inside the drive even tho i enabled no umd in the recovery mode in order to play the games?

i didn't enable or disabled anything, from 2.71 to 1.5 to OE-A to OE-B and all my iso's play with a umd in

The no UMD option isn't 100% there yey. I too have had no problems if a UMD is inside. GTA VCS is a bit slow though...
