You don't need to use the bruteforce option. If you're in the UK, you either select sym6952 or sym6887. Depending on your cable provider, it's either one or the other. Of course, bruteforce option will work, but it takes far longer than necessary and produces the same results.

Davetop, if you're getting Kabel Deutschland rather than the UK options, you must have changed your cables.xml, or possibly some files in your Enigma or Neutrino folder. What image are you using and how many flash chips?

Sorry, yes, I can see now from your earlier post that you're using commando v 2.0. Your Dbox2 will have either 1 or 2 flash chips within it. When you flash an image, the image will either be for Dbox2s with 1 flash chip or 2. Hence the image will be named as "1x" or "2x" respectively. It's important to flash the correct image. Flashing a 1x image to a Dbox2 with 2 flash chips (or vice versa), will result in Kein System.

If I were you I'd flash a new image. Sportster has always been good for me..

lol.. Don't put a hammer to it just yet!

You can FTP an image to the tmp folder on the Dbox2, or else use IFA.

Zappp64 has an excellent guide on his website for IFA.. Click here:

as benifa stated my IFA guide is straight forward - if you follow the guide apply the windows settings and registry fix, and have a valid image you should have it done in 15 minutes

What's more embarrasing is the fact you have given your traceable email address and just told Twest that you are going to install a box to watch their channels!
