I own a psp with 2.60 firmware. Its not a ta psp, and doesnt have any gold writting inside the umd casing. From what ive read in these posts and other sites, the only way to downgrade is by using a gta liberty cities game that hasnt been patched right? I recently bought the game and well to my knowledge its patched. Is there any other way that I can downgrade my psp without having to use a non patched gta lc game? Ive ran the downdate program 3 times now and nothing happens. My psp is still recognized as 2.60.

You dont need GTA. You can just upgrade to 2.71 and then downgrade from there.

Thank you so much for your help. I upgraded to 2.71, then down to 1.5 on my first try. Now I need help on how to get a game to run off memory stick lol. Theres alot of R04 files. Do I just take the whole folder and place it in the game section of my memory stick? Or do I have to seperate the folder and divided it into its proper folder placement? Like saved games folder, game folder and any others?
