i just got a brand new 2.01 PSP and would like to upgrade it to dark alex's 3.02 OE-B firmware

could someone please tell me what i need to do to get to 3.02 OE-B?

First of all
MAKE SURE YOUR PSP IS COMPATIBLE:

Or you will brick ur psp


second of all you shouldn't install the 3.02 oe-b on a 2.01 (1.50 is the only best one u can use) psp so upgrade to 2.71 first by downloading this:

then plug your psp into your pc and open to the folder GAME put a new folder there called UPDATE (In CAPS) then copy your update into there.

then unplug your usb and go to the game menu -> memory stick and run 2.71 update. (Make sure you do not turn psp off and plug your ac adpater in and neva pull ur memory stick out)

blah blah blah

check your firmware agian and see if you got 2.71 by going to settings -> system info.

Download this next to downgrade to 1.50:

Then run it on your pc and do not pull usb out or blah blah blah.)

Then download:

http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/966
( the instructions are with download )

run it through usb

Then check firmware....

then download this:

the instructions are with the download

That should be it


and next time use the search bar instead of askin because alot of people are asking too much about this without searching and wastin every1s time.

sorry for the double post but how do i know whether my 2.01 PSP is compatible with this downgrader? i have looked at the link but am still unsure (it is definately not a TA-082)
