I know this has been ask but I decided to start a new thread. Here I go. I'm trying to rip the 1st disc, side 1 of Battlestar Galatica the original series. When DVD Decyptor is parsing the DVD on VTS_02_0.IFO it gets a Unrecoverable error. I've also got "No Seek Error, too" The DVD plays fine a regular home DVD player. The DVD has no dirt, no smooges, and no scratchs on it. It is in perfect condition. What is going on here?

Thanks

@iba5000,

It's possible you've got a bad press, it this case the disk will play just fine in a player, but you'll have problems when trying to copy it/back it up.

Try using DVDFab decrypter (free) to rip the movie to your hard with, if successful, open the files using DVDshrink for transcoding and autoburning to disk.

Get DVDFab here
http://www.dvdfab.com/DVDFabDecrypter3051Beta.exe

If your still unable to backup the DVD, you probably have a bad press and will need to return it, exchange it for another and retry.

Use Anydvd and believe

DVDFab HD Decrypter (free)... http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
