I recently just got a PSP and Metal Gear Solid-PO which upgraded my firmware to 2.81 in order to play. Now I want upgrade to 3.02 OE A then upgrade to 3.02 OE B to play PSX game, but I am not sure if I can do this with my current firmware version. I know there is firmware down-grader but have only see it for 2.71 i think. I got the 302_Basic_Installer_SE but no sure if I should use this.

2.81 you cant downgrade to get the 3.02oe-a/b.

Thanks Thoatih12 I did some more research and I'm basically screwed as of right now. The only way to play PSX on your PSP after you upgraded to 2.81-3.03 is to get them through the PS3
