well i was watching a tv program the other day and on one of the computers the police were trying to access, it had a progarm at the startup where you had to enter a password into it in order to gain access the computer and you had 6 chances to type the correct passwrod or the computer would wipe itself clean. i was wondering if such a program (or something similar) existed?

Kateman: While im sure there are virus programs out there to do it no goverment or police would chance erasing your computer. It's probably a rouge spyware program that loads and promises you the world if you download something. Erasing an entire computer off the net is not such an easy task. If it was every hacker in the world would be using it. Sounds like straight up BS
