my friend just bought a brand new psp for only $170.. it was on sale.
however it's a factory 2.81 right out of the box.
is there any way to downgrade this puppy?
he said he will return it if he can't downgrade eventho he got it for really cheap.

you can only downgrade from 2.80 at the moment but if you wait a couple of weeks a 2.81 downgrader may appear and besides you got it for quite a low price so keep it for now.
