hiya right i have a 1.51 psp and whould like to upgrade to 3.02Oe-a couls please some 1 talk me throgh thanks

We do not take responsibiltity if you brick your psp during this process so you've been warned!!!!

you shouldn't install custom firmware on any firmware higher than 1.50. But don't worry first download 2.00 update from here:

then CREATE a folder called "UPDATE" (In CAPS without the inverted commas) in PSP -> GAME then put your psp update file in there then run it on your psp. (but before that make sure you have your ac adapter plugged in and do not take out the memory stick nor turn the psp off.)

Next downgrade it to 1.50 by looking at this:

Then download this 3.02 oe-a easy installer:

Then finally download this to update to 3.02 OE-B:
