I am the prowd new owner of a TA-082 3.02-OE-b firmware. I was getting ready to use X Flash to personalize my PSP but then read the release notes. In version 18-f it states that it now has an autodetect for TA-082 motherboards and will quit the program. I was bumbed out. I thought that once we downgraded the 082 to 1.5 we were good. This does not look to be the case.

Does anyone know why we can not use X Flash? Since we can't use that flashing program are there others we should not be using as well? We may want to have a list of TA-082 approved programs even if you are running custom FW.

Thanks for the help.

I don't think it's a module. It's a flash program. I just don't understand why they specified TA-082 mobo won't work.

Has anyone had any issues using X-Flash or any other flash program on a TA-082.

Did you try it? If yes, it gave you the boot? Try an older version of x-flash maybe?

I've used x-flash while emulating 1.5 through devhook on a ta-082. So yea..>_>

Ta-082 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 2.8 > Brick > 2.6
> 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.71 M33 > 3.80 M33 > 3.90 M33-3 > 4.01 M33-2

Skit,

I assume that there is a reason why he put in a block so that you don't flash to the 082 mobo. If you are emulating they all you are flashing to is your memory card not your motherboard. I just want to make sure that there is not something different that could brick a 082 mobo.
