When I first boot up ... and my Icons come up on my desktop, My System 32 Folder Opens and it used to not do that. I have no idea why it is doing it. How do I fix it? Thank you in advance, Rita

Dbl. click my computer>right click drive C>left click properties>left click tools> check top box under check disk for errors>restart computer.
If that does not work-ck box two & let it scan your HD

Good luck

Are you running windows XP ?
How long ago did this event start.
You could try setting back computer to an earlier time.

Yes...Windows XP....and it's been maybe a month now that it has been doing this...and for some strange reason...I just kept thinking... that this is a glitch...and when I restart it....it will not happen again....but no such luck.

If you are running a Dell Computer
Go to Dell support page & download File: R75304exe & click on it.
This will clear problem.
If you do not have a Dell--go to your computers support site & ask for a patch to stop problem.

It's usually a bad or corrupt entry in the Run section of your registry.
