Updating psp from v2.82 to play iso's (v3.02)

Hi all could someone help please i am just struggling to upgrade my psp to a versions that can play iso games etc.
I am running v 2.82 and have been told i need to install v3.02.
I have downloaded this from dark alex and is on my desktop but really struggling to do it.
Is there anyone got time to help a novice to get this up and running please then also to show me how to run the games etc

sorry u cant upgrade to 3.02 OE only 1.5 can. You have to wait until a 2.82 downgrader comes up.

just place the update file which can be found on psp-hacks in a folder called update in game folder then update easy peasy

create a game150 (in capitals) folder and put update file in that
