I've been burning ps1 bin/cue files on to CD-R and trying to play them with Breaker Pro. I insert the back up into my flip top PS2, and press any button to get it started.
It makes noises like it is trying to read it, but never does.
Any ideas what my problem could be?
It is an official copy of Breaker Pro.
And I've been burning on Nero. I select the cue file and hit burn. It takes about 2 minutes and it says its done.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You didn't give much info, so possibly cheap discs or burning too fast.

Pioneer 107, ritek g05

Sorry.
They aren't cheap because I backed up my whole dreamcast collection a few weeks ago.
And I always burn at the slowest speed possible.
It seems as if I'm doing everything I should be, but it just won't boot up.
I've tried re-adjusting the lens for a bit by turning the white dial inside my ps2 but that doesn't seem to have made a difference at all.
Any ideas?

I think the problem is with my Nero.
I realized that no matter what I burn it doesn't work.
What other FREE programs can burn bin/cue files on to a disc to use with Breaker Pro?
I have the Alcohol 120 trial but cannot figure it out.
What other programs are best for this specific case?
Thanks a bunch.

I figured it out.
I have no idea what's wrong with my Nero, but it doesn't work.
I figured it out with Alcohol.
Thanks for you time :)

You still didn't say what brand discs your using :-) Also, just because your discs work for 1 format doesn't necessarily mean they will work for all formats. But, glad you got it to work.

Oh, sorry.
I'm using Maxell.
I was told they were good quality for dreamcast so I would assume they work well with psx also.
Do you think a different media would work better with Nero?
Not that it matters now, but maybe sometime in the future it will.

Maxell should be fine. Just stay away from Memorex (cd and dvd).
