I just updated to 3.02 OE-B from 1.5 and it all installed fine.. I threw some games (PSX and PSP) on there and they didnt work at all, the PSP loading screen would pop up but it would then go black and the unit would reset.. It wont even run a UMD when I try playing it, it just does the same thing..

I deleted all the install folders in the \GAME folder, would that have anything to do with it?

I would like to go back to 1.5 and try installing again and not touch the settings this time, but when I go into the recovery mode and clock run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP (I have the 1.5 eboot in there) it just gives me a black screen and resets.. Any advice? Thanks!

Thats odd. You make sure its a 1.5 update eboot? Also make sure you have a full battery and the power connected when you run the recovery.

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

You can't just use the eboot.pbp straight. You need the other files which are included in the 3.02oe-a installer download from http://dl.qj.net/3.02-OE-A-by-Dark_AleX-...11867/catid/114 . In that there shud be a folder called 'flasher for recovery' go into that and theres the full recovery folder with all the extra files. Just drop your 1.5 update file (call it UPDATE.PBP) in there and run it in recovery mode. The extra files are called: decryptprx.prx, libpsardumper.prx and extprxs.pbp
